Acceptance of the Clearblue Advice Centre’s Terms and Conditions

By using this service (as defined in section 1.1 below) you are deemed to understand, consent to and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not understand and agree to these terms and conditions you should not use this service.

1. General

1.1 Clearblue (‘We/Us/Our’) undertake to send the User (‘You/Your’), for a free online consultation, which is conducted as email communication and a live chat service on the website, with a UK General Medical Counsel registered medical practitioner (‘the Doctor’) to assist You in answering a medical question relating to your pregnancy situation (the ‘Service’). All Services are supplied to Clearblue by Doctor2Go Ltd.

2. Such Service is subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

3. The ’Ask the Doctors’ Service offered through clearblueadvice.com entitles You to one (1) Free consultation with the Doctor, comprising of one (1) question from You, one (1) reply from the Doctor, followed by one (1) follow-up question from You and one (1) reply to the follow-up question from the Doctor. This Service is conducted via email.

4. Your email will be responded to by the Doctor within 48 hours of receipt of Your question [or follow-up question] by the Doctor. Response time is excluding bank holidays and weekends, where questions will be anticipated to be answered within 72 hours from date and time You submit your email.

5. Warranties by You:

You agree that the question is related to Your own pregnancy situation and You agree that all information provided in the consultation to be truth and complete to the best of Your knowledge, revealing and disclosing all relevant information.

You understand that this service does not offer medical advice for conditions not related to pregnancy and so this Agreement becomes immediately void if Your question is not medically related to Your pregnancy situation.

You agree that We have advised You of the importance of keeping Your GP informed about Your medical situation and that We have offered to inform Your GP if You consent and provide Us with the relevant contact details.

You agree to supply an email address and You consent to Us contacting You for promotional, informational or other purposes (please see section 4.1 if you want to opt out of this communication).

6. Warranties by Us:

We warrant and undertake that Your consultation will only be viewed by the Doctor, his/her medical staff and employees or subcontractors of SPD Development Company Ltd (SPD is the manufacturer of the Clearblue products) for the purpose of answering Your question.

2. Intellectual Property

2.1 All material contained and presented on this website, including but not limited to text and graphics is Our copyright or similar rights, unless otherwise expressly stated.

2.2 We reserve all its rights and strictly forbid any unauthorised use or duplication. Any statutorily authorised rights to print or download are strictly limited for your sole personal use. No material, however, can be used for any commercial purpose whatsoever.

2.3 Any copies of the pages of this website which You save, by any means whatsoever can only be used for subsequent viewing purposes or to print extracts for Your personal use.
